As civilisati­on as we know collapses aroundound us, supermarke­ts have stepped in with creative options to try to satisfyif thath steak k night craving. One such place is the local Co-op with their steak and fries for under a fiver. However, if you’ve a craving to pimp out that plate and go from bare to bling then this is the recipe for you. As always it’s easily done and you can tweak as you see fit. My usual tweak is to triple the brandy, drink two-thirds myself and then get on with the cooking.
