SNUBBED SINITTA’S MUPPET JUDGES JIBE
ANGRY Sinitta rounded on Simon Cowell after he axed her from X Factor’s Judges’ Houses by comparing him to one of The Muppets.
His long-time confidante has appeared on the show regularly over the years but for this series he ditched her in favour of Spice Girl Mel B.
Sinitta has now taken a swipe at show boss Simon and fellow judges Louis and Sharon by ED GLEAVE likening them to characters from the TV puppet show. She said: “It’s like the two old men from The Muppets and Miss Piggy. Sharon will kill me for saying that, won’t she?” In contrast, the former singer was full of praise for Nicole Scherzinger. Asked which judge is the best qualified, Sinitta said: “Nicole, because she can show her acts how to perform. And she knows how to ‘bring it’. ”You can see from the auditions that she doesn’t always agree with the other judges on who to put through. The other judges are expert spectators in my opinion.
“Seriously, Nicole is the most competitive but they all seem to get along this year and there is a new ‘flirty’ Simon, which is really funny.” Sinitta created one of The X Factor’s most memorable moments when she appeared at Judges’ Houses dressed in a palm leaf outfit. But she won’t be on the show for Simon’s selection in LA this year, which airs next weekend. She said: “Obviously it’s a shame and I’m sad. But in the end, I have to accept Simon’s decision. There’s always next year, I guess.”
