Boss Gordon a proud Scot

MATCHES between old rivals Scotland and England are as important as they come to Gordon Strachan.

So Harry Kane’s late leveller for England last weekend was rather painful for the Scotland manager (right) despite his pride in his team’s display.

Strachan said: “I have been involved in a lot of these matches over the years and know what they mean to fans. “My wife and I spent our homeymoon in the crowd at the 1977 Wembley match.”
