Greg’s running scared

BUSKER Gregor Coleman reckons being punched and robbed by drunken punters is less scary than auditioning for The X Factor.

The Glasgow singer has been attacked several times by yobs.

The wannabe, who has been a street performer for two years, said: “Drunk guys sometimes want to fight.

“It is scary but it’s just part of the job. It gives you a thick skin.”

Gregor was asked to sing for a second time by show boss Simon Cowell before going through to boot camp.

Revealing the whole experience added to his anxiety, he said: “Performing for the judges was a lot more terrifying than getting attacked by drunks. “I was OK when I arrived but you do so many interviews while you are waiting. I got so nervous and just ended up winding myself up all day. These are the people who can decide if you have a career or not.”

The tattoo-lover is desperate to win and get a recording contract. He added: “I would happily get Simon Cowell’s face tattooed on my face if he said I would win. “I’ll probably get something of Nicole though instead.”
