Ron’s still ‘on a roll’ every day

Daily Star Sunday - - FRONT PAGE -

RANDY Ronnie Wood says the secret to keeping his younger wife happy is having daily sex.

The 70-year-old – whose third wife Sally is 31 years his junior – said when asked how often he had intercourse with his missus: “You’ve got to have that every day.”

Rolling Stone Ronnie claimed his high metabolism contributes to his sex drive as it has always kept him up “halfway through the night”.

The guitarist recently recovered from a battle with lung cancer after being diagnosed in May following a routine examination by the band’s doctor Richard Dawood.

He chose to have surgery instead of chemotherapy, as he feared losing his trademark hair.

Ronnie said there was a week where his life hung in the balance and he was set to say goodbye to his wife and their one-year-old twins Gracie and Alice.

But he added: “Right now is a pretty good time in my life. I am existing on threemonthly check-ups but, yeah, I am very grateful.”

He said about death: “I can dodge the bullets – I’m lucky.” But he wished he hadn’t spent so much of his life “hanging about”.

Ronnie also said he would like Daniel Craig to play him in a film of his life. JEFF Bridges says he still loves to watch his film The Big Lebowski.

The actor, 67, starred as The Dude in the 1998 cult Coen Brothers’ flick about a kidnap and ransom payment that goes hilariously wrong.

He told ITV’s Jonathan Ross he has watched it 20 times, adding: “I love that movie, I’m so happy to be a part of it.”
