FORMER Strictly runner-up Frankie Bridge says Saturdays bandmate Mollie King first started preparing for the dance show three years ago.
Frankie, who lost out to Caroline Flack Clifton Kevin COLLABRO star Michael Auger feared he would die while stuck in Saint Martin during Hurricane Irma. The 2014 Britain’s Got Talent winner told me: “The hurricane was frightening but it was actually a few days later that was the worst. “We were stranded with no electricity or water and looters were banging on the door to break in. “I genuinely feared for my life and wondered if I’d ever get off the island.” Michael and his bandmates have just released charity single Lighthouse, with all proceeds going to Save The Children’s Emergency Fund. The group go on a 30-date UK tour next month. Tickets are on sale now.

Frankie denied Mollie had an advantage due to her pop star days, adding: “Dancing in the band is nothing like on Strictly.”
She was supporting the #FeelSuper campaign for the third year to help raise funds for Marie Curie.
