MOIRA MEN FACE TEST OF NERVES

MOIRA Dingle gets the results of her baby’s paternity test as her estranged husband Cain and nephew Pete Barton anxiously await the news.

Moira initially believed that Pete was the father following their onenight stand.

But after a comment from the scheming Charity Dingle about Cain being the daddy, his concerned girlfriend Harriet Finch goes to see Moira at the hospital.

She asks her about the possibility of Cain being the father and the confused mum has to admit there is a chance.

However, poor Moira believes that if Cain is the daddy of her little boy he would not want anything to do with him.

Harriet isn’t convinced and tells Moira the only way they can find out for sure is to take a paternity test.

An Emmerdale insider said: “It is an extremely tense time for everyone.

“Pete has had a few days to get his head around the fact he’s the daddy.

“So it comes as a bit of a shock that it could now be Cain’s baby. Moira and Pete are not blood relatives but their romp has been sending shockwaves through the village.

“And if the baby does turn out to be Cain’s it doesn’t mean that they’ll get back together.

“Harriet is very much by his side and just wants to get to the truth.

“Everyone will have to wait to see what the results show.”

Moira’s moment of truth is on Tuesday as she discovers who is the daddy of her baby boy.
