MARC MARQUEZ is looking good for a fourth World MotoGP crown for after powering his Repsol Honda on to pole start for this afternoon’s decisive final round at Valencia.

But the local hero rode his luck again, setting his fastest lap of 1min

29.897secs on his first run in the grid-deciding session before crashing for the second time in as many days just into his second run.

He was uninjured and will go into the race with a

21-point lead over his only rival Andrea Dovizioso.

The Ducati rider faces an uphill struggle in a race he has to win as he starts from the third row.

Johann Zarco and Andrea Iannone are on the front row alongside Marquez who only needs to finish in the top 11 to secure the title.
