MUM Alison, 45, was stabbed 40 times by her “bad neighbour” the day after he was issued with a restraining order.

Trevor Gibbon was handed the notice over claims he was harassing Alison, her husband Cedric and their teenage son Kori in a long-running dispute about their shared driveway in Harrow, north London.

He once trapped Alison in her car and on another occasion “stalked” the family and stared at them from inside his car. Alison had described “constant unending harassment”, adding: “It got so bad that I could not sleep properly.”

In court Gibbon admitted harassing the family between August 2012 and October 2014 and was handed a protection order.

But the next day Gibbon attacked her on her way to work. TV engineer Gibbon, 48, armed himself with two knives and ambushed her from behind on December 18, 2014.

As she lay dying, Alison told passers-by: “Trevor Gibbon did this to me.”

Her husband Cedric told the court: “Alison was my best friend, my soul mate, the soul of our home and the breadwinner to the household. A bright light has been extinguished forever.”
