Poisons ‘found in soil near Grenfell Tower’
SOIL tests around Grenfell Tower have revealed toxins that could affect local residents, a scientist has found.
Professor Anna Stec is reported to have discovered “huge concentrations” of potential carcinogens in soil and dust. The professor in fire chemistry and toxicity at the University of Central Lancashire is an expert witness for the Grenfell Inquiry.
Prof Stec took samples from locations almost a mile away from the tower and says further tests are now needed.
