Young Brits kicking booze-binge habits
MORE young Brits are sobering up and becoming booze-free.
More than a quarter of 16 to 24-year-olds class themselves as non-drinkers, research has revealed.
Internet searches for alcohol-free drinks have shot up by 61% over the last six months. And the Go Sober for October website has seen a 330% increase in visits over the last four weeks.
The trend towards non-drinking – up 11% in 10 years – was spread across all social classes and areas of the UK, according to the BMC Public Health Journal.
