Gun victim named
A FATHER shot dead as he waited for his daughter outside a dance school has been named.
Emergency services were called but James Taylor, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene in Liverpool city centre.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin Earl said: “His daughter was actually at that dance school at that time and has come out and witnessed her father after the attack, we believe.
“This is a young child who now has to deal with that experience possibly for the rest of her life.”
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw a black Ford Fiesta car which was seen close to the scene.
A similar vehicle was later found burnt out.
