Tickets: £30 EDINBURGH Held at Prince’s Street Garden, expect five days celebrating in a 1,500-person tent complete with traditional blue and white decorations, long tables and staff in full costume. Tickets: Free on Wednesday, £5 on Thursday and Sunday and £10 on Friday and Saturday. NEWCASTLE Geordies never need an excuse to party – but they’re getting one anyway. Head to Times Square for the first Newcastle Oktoberfest to try huge steins of German beer and get mortal. Canny lad. Tickets: £5-36 CARDIFF This Welsh bash features table service from waitresses in traditional German dress, authentic German food from a range of street food vendors, live entertainment from Bavarian oompah bands and ales straight from the original Oktoberfest in Munich.
