A DEAD Brit found bound halfnaked to an airport bench may have been humiliated by sickos fed up of his begging.

The body of Steven Allford, 51, was found outside Malaga Airport with a slice of ham on each buttock and his genitals were stuffed in a tuna can.

A security guard raised the alarm at 9am on Saturday morning after discovering Mr Allford’s body.

He was found in a landscaped garden between the airport’s train station and terminal building.

\Shocking

Mr Allford had been bound face-down, with cable ties attaching an arm to one end of the bench and a leg to the other.

His trousers and pants had been pulled down, ham placed on his buttocks and his privates wedged into an old open fish can.

Tests showed he had died from asphyxiation and police believe he may have choked on his own vomit after drinking alcohol.

They are trying to determine if he was the victim of a sexual assault, murdered or if sickos stumbled on his body anddecided to humiliate him after death.

Mr Allford had been sleeping rough at the airport and was often seen pushing a trolley and begging around the terminal building and car parks.

A source said: “It may be someone targeted him because they were unhappy at his lifestyle. Some may have considered him something of a nuisance.

“The reality is he was a vulnerable man with an alcohol problem and mental health issues.

“What is certain is that someone has chosen to humiliate him. That is a shocking act in itself.

“What is not clear at this stage is if he was killed or someone defiled his body after his accidental death. It is a sickening crime whatever.’’

Malaga is Spain’s fourth biggest airport serving 14million passengers a year, many of whom are Brits.
