MY CHILDBIRTH HELL ALMOST DESTROYED MY LIFE

- By JOE COSHAN news@dailystar.co.uk

AMANDA Holden had therapy for a month to deal with childbirth traumas.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge had a stillborn son, Theo, in 2011.

Amanda then suffered from post-traumatic stress after the birth of daughter Hollie a year later.

The star of stage and screen also had a haemorrhage after the placenta attached to her bladder and ruptured an artery.

Amanda, who is also mum to 11-year-old Alexa, said of therapy: “It was like grief counselling. I wasn’t coping. I had to do something.

“I’m incredibly pragmatic and I understood I had to get someone to help me. I stopped therapy because it had served its purpose.”

Meanwhile, Amanda said she would love to bag This Morning host Holly Willoughby’s job if she ever “hung up her stilettos”.

Amanda, who covered Holly’s maternity leave in 2015, said: “I wasn’t wearing the big glam frock, I wasn’t judging people.

“I was talking to people in the news. I loved every minute.”
