LIAM Gallagher is back and, shock horror, he’s a Harry Styles fan.

The former Oasis star is about to go solo and he sees similariti­es between himself and the 1D lad.

Asked about Harry’s self-titled album, Liam told NME: “I don’t mind it, man. There’s some interestin­g bits in it... fair play to him.

“I’ve got the weight of Oasis still hanging over me and I’m sure he’s carrying an equal weight.

“If he wants to get out of that pop world and into something with a bit more substance I think that’s a good thing.”

Anyone would think Liam is mellowing in his old age, but that couldn’t further from the truth.

He said: “I’ve still got f***ing fire in my belly and soon as that microphone is there I’m ready to f***ing spit the words out. When my hands go behind my back it’s war.”

As You Were is out in October, written with help from Adele hitmaker Greg Kurstin.
