After I reported last week that Bey was in labour her dad yesterday confirmed their nappy news.
They now have three children, adding to their five-yearold daughter Blue Ivy. Bey’s dad Mathew posted a photo that read “Happy Birthday to the twins love Grandad” and captioned it “They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday”
A source revealed: “Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and friends.”
Although they have not yet released the sex of the twins, close pal Barack Obama suggested last week they were having twin girls. But balloons spotted at Beyoncé’s Los Angeles hospital suggest it could be a boy and a girl.
The twins have completed their family, after they struggled to conceive since Blue Ivy. A source said: “They have been trying for a long time and now to be blessed with twins, they are so over the moon. It’s even better than they wished for.”
Thrilled Bey has shared bump snaps daily since February, when she first posted a pic cradling her belly and saying: “We are incredibly grateful our family will be growing by two, and thank you for your well wishes – The Carters.”
She was forced to cancel her headlinging slot at Coachella in April on the orders of her doctor.
But Beyoncé insisted that she will be performing there next year instead.
