Red alert by Tezza
THE PRIME Minister put on her “war paint” for a show of solidarity with her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe yesterday.
She wore a striking red lipstick which behavioural expert Judi James last night said signalled a defiant front to the world. The psychologist said: “Red lipstick is emphatic and defiant. Here she is wearing it like armour, like war paint.
“Putting on red lipstick like this shows that she is ramping up her message.”
Mrs May is visiting Japan in a bid to drum up trade after Brexit. But her trip came after North Korea fired a missile over Japan.
Mrs May, who later joined a Japanese tea ceremony, also pledged to step up pressure on the regime.
