BRITISH Hollywood star Kate Beckinsale last night claimed she fought off Harvey Weinstein while she was still a schoolgirl.

The Total Recall actress, pictured with him in 2004, said she met the producer in a hotel when only 17. Kate, 44, wrote on Instagram: “I assumed it would be in a conference room which was very common. When I arrived, reception told me to go to his room.” She claimed he opened the door “in his bathrobe”.

She added: “I was incredibly naive and young and it did not cross my mind that this older, unattractive man would expect me to have any interest in him.” She said: “After declining alcohol and announcing that I had school in the morning I left, uneasy but unscathed.”

She says turning him down “undoubtedly harmed my career”.

The star also claimed Weinstein called her a “c***” and made threats over the years.
