Mel B ‘ends rift with nanny’
MEL B is close to settling a bitter court battle with her ex-nanny Lorraine Gilles.
The former Spice Girl was granted a restraining order which meant the blonde could not come within 100 yards of her.
Lawyers for Mel – real name Melanie Brown – met her former employee’s legal team to end the feud last week. It could see the order lifted when the case is in court today.
The mum-of-three, 42, claims Lorraine, 26, got pregnant by her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, 42, and later had an abortion. The nanny denied the allegations and launched a defamation case against the pop star.
She insisted Mel and Stephen made her join in their steamy sex sessions.
Lorraine’s legal papers said: “At no point did Gilles and Belafonte engage in any sexual acts without Brown’s knowledge or participation and at no point did Gilles and Belafonte represent to Brown that Gilles was pregnant with Belafonte’s child.”
Mel has withdrawn an order against her ex, meaning he can see their daughter Madison.
