BRITAIN’S most violent prisoner Charles Bronson yesterday married former Corrie actress Paula Williamson in jail.
The bride then left to party and later honeymoon on her own. Bronson, 64, who now calls himself Charles Salvador, was believed to be wearing handcuffs when he tied the knot at Wakefield Prison, West Yorks.
Paula, 37, her family and friends gathered at the three-star York House Hotel for a reception just a few minutes walk away. She had been driven to her wedding by Bronson lookalike Timothy Crowley, 49. Her husband has spent 41 years behind bars for a string of violent offences. Paula, pictured right shopping for a wedding dress, said he was “excited” about getting married.
