BRI­TAIN’S most vi­o­lent pris­oner Charles Bron­son mar­ried a for­mer Cor­rie ac­tress in jail yes­ter­day – then the bride left to party on her own.

BRI­TAIN’S most vi­o­lent pris­oner Charles Bron­son yes­ter­day mar­ried for­mer Cor­rie ac­tress Paula Wil­liamson in jail.

The bride then left to party and later hon­ey­moon on her own. Bron­son, 64, who now calls him­self Charles Sal­vador, was be­lieved to be wear­ing hand­cuffs when he tied the knot at Wake­field Prison, West Yorks.

Paula, 37, her fam­ily and friends gath­ered at the three-star York House Ho­tel for a re­cep­tion just a few min­utes walk away. She had been driven to her wed­ding by Bron­son looka­like Ti­mothy Crow­ley, 49. Her husband has spent 41 years be­hind bars for a string of vi­o­lent of­fences. Paula, pic­tured right shop­ping for a wed­ding dress, said he was “ex­cited” about get­ting mar­ried.
