Raid ad banned
A ROYAL Mail TV ad showing armed robbers storming a bank has been banned for being “too distressing”.
The advert, intended to raise awareness of identity theft, showed the raiders forcing customers, including a child, onto their knees.
Bosses at the Advertising Standards Authority said: “Throughout the scene the members of the public were shouted at aggressively and some were crying.”
The watchdog ordered that the “distressing” ad not be shown again.
