School killer’s list of targets
A BOY of 15 who stabbed Ann Maguire to death in her classroom also wanted to knife other teachers, an inquest heard.
Will Cornick told schoolmates he planned to stab a pregnant teacher to kill her baby.
He showed other pupils the 13in kitchen knife he brought into school.
And he also told them about his plans ahead of his attack on Mrs Maguire at Corpus Christi Catholic College in Leeds.
One teenager told police: “He was saying he looked at the human body and how to kill people fast.”
The pupil said Cornick told him he could go from Mrs Maguire to other teachers – Miss Miley, who was pregnant, and Mr Kellett.
A teacher at the school, Emma Conway, was asked at the inquest why she thought no pupils reported Cornick’s threats.
She said: “It beggars belief that they wouldn’t share that information.”
Cornick was jailed for life for Mrs Maguire’s murder.
The inquest in Wakefield, West Yorks, continues. ATHLETE Corey Bellemore, from Windsor, Canada, broke his own world record by running a mile in just over four and a half minutes while downing four bottles of beer.
