UK FROM MILD TO MISERY!
Snow showers on way
THE brief spell of warmer weather is going to make way for a bitter Arctic blast.
And forecasters have warned that the next cold snap could last into next month.
After a frosty start to the week, temperatures are likely to rise into double figures again over the next couple of days.
But Friday will see the return of chilly winds and possible snow.
Wintry showers are forecast in Scotland and the north.
And there is even a chance the south could see the first snow flurry of the season.
The Met Office’s Helen Chivers said: “There are signs we could end up with a slightly longer and colder spell of weather, but this depends on a low pressure system moving past the UK on Sunday.
“We will have to see the track it takes and how it affects the cold air over Britain.”
