Froome is ‘cheating’

CHRIS FROOME’S use of drugs to combat asthma has been called cheating by rival rider Tim Wellens.

Froome could lose his Vuelta a Espana title after tests showed excessive levels of asthma drugs in his system.

Wellens, who quit last year’s Tour de France with breathing problems, said: “To me, it’s cheating. Sometimes, when you’re sick, you have to take it.”
