ENERGY giant SSE yesterday became the last of the Big Six to raise prices, with nearly 2.4million customers facing a £76 a year rise.
The group is increasing electricity and gas bills by an average of 6.7% from July 11.
Bosses blame wholesale price increases and Government policy on green energy.
Dual fuel customers will be clobbered with an average increase of £1.50 a week. M&S Energy customers, who are supplied by SSE, will also be hit.
