MICHELLE Keegan used first-aid skills she learned while filming Our Girl to save a woman’s life.

The actress rushed to help a diner who had collapsed in a restaurant.

The woman had fallen facedown on her plate as her horrified husband looked on.

Michelle – Army medic Georgie Lane in the BBC drama – stopped the woman choking.

The 31-year-old former Corrie star said: “Before Our Girl I would never have done that. I would have gone into a panic state. I think the training that I had gave me confidence.”

Michelle said she knew the woman needed sugar and told the waiter to bring a Coke.

“They came over with a bottle and a straw,” she said.

“I knew it was quite dangerous because it could get trapped in her throat.

“So I threw the straw and put it in a glass.

“She started sipping it and came around slowly.”
