Good Un, Mr Trump

IT’S not very often people have anything positive to say about Donald Trump.

But we should at least be quietly optimistic after his historic meeting with Kim Jong-un.

The President claims he has talked North Korea into ditching its nuclear weapons completely.

At the moment it’s just words. It remains to be seen if these words are turned into actions.

But if this deal does come off then a country once deemed the world’s most dangerous will no longer be a nuclear threat.

It would be a phenomenal achievement.

Let’s be fair – if Barack Obama had done it we’d all be applauding. Donald Trump may well deserve the same level of praise.
