Thief says he couldn’t chomp victim
A WOULD-be thief accused of trying to bite a motorist shouted out in court: “I’ve got no teeth, your honour.”
Nigel Simoni, 47, was accused of trying to sink his gnashers into Azhar Khan.
The driver had caught lout Simoni attempting to pinch his satnav in a raid on his black BMW in Bradford.
He had threatened Mr Khan with a multi-tool device.
But that did not stop Mr Khan and his cousin giving chase and restraining him.
Bradford Crown Court was told that Simoni then tried to bite Mr Khan.
But the defendant shouted from the dock that he could not have done because he is toothless.
Simoni was jailed for 18 months after admitting attempted theft and possession of a bladed weapon.
The yob was on prison licence at the time of his latest raid and had an incredible 104 offences on his record including eight for weapon possession.
