BED HABIT: Phone fa­nat­ics

AL­MOST half of Brits say their part­ner’s phone use is ru­in­ing their re­la­tion­ship.

Shock re­search found 47% com­plained their other half uses their de­vice too much.

A quar­ter of peo­ple quizzed said their mo­bile is the first thing they look for in the morn­ing and more than a third ad­mit­ted us­ing their hand­set is the last thing they do be­fore go­ing to sleep.

While 41% claimed they would rather spend time in bed with their phone than with their part­ner, ac­cord­ing to the poll.

Mean­while, 53% of par- ents ad­mit­ted to reg­u­larly keep­ing kids oc­cu­pied with their smart­phone.

The re­search came from Swedish hard­ware store chain Clas Ohlson as part of a cam­paign en­cour­ag­ing qual­ity time with fam­ily.
