PRINCESS Eugenie finally got her fairytale wedding yesterday as she tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank.

The ninth in line to the throne, 28, wed the tequila ambassador, 32, in a star-studded ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

The event was more muted than Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in the same venue just five months earlier.

Celebrity pals among the 850 guests included The X Factor stars Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field, actress Demi Moore and models Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Naomi Campbell.

Comedian Jimmy Carr, Pixie Geldof, Chelsea Davy, Jamie Redknapp, Ellie Goulding, Liv Tyler, James Blunt and Ricky Martin also watched.

They joined senior royals including Eugenie’s mum and dad Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, grandmother the Queen, Prince Philip, William and Kate and Harry and Meghan.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte starred as page boy and bridesmaid.

The newlyweds left the lavish ceremony in a silver Aston Martin. The princess wore a white dress, with a faint scar showing the sign of her surgery to correct her childhood spinal curve condition scoliosis.

Richard Bacon, a pal of the couple, revealed afterwards how the princess helped his wife deal with his recent illness. He said: “I was in a coma. Eugenie wrote my wife several lovely emails.

“She understood it’s worse for people close to you when you’re ill than it is for yourself.”

He said Prince Andrew, “made a very loving speech”. The former Blue Peter host added: “It was moving.”

Meanwhile, the BBC made an embarrassing gaffe after a reporter said “what a beautiful dress” – but the subtitles read “what a beautiful breasts”.

Royal fans went into overdrive speculating that Meghan was pregnant and hiding a baby bump. And Prince George showed his cheeky side as he was caught picking his nose on TV.

Dr Anthony Wallersteiner, the groom’s headmaster from Stowe School, Bucks, said: “Jack’s speech was lovely. There were lots of tears.”
