GC gets boot
DANCING ON ICE LATEST
REALITY telly diva Gemma Collins tumbled out of Dancing On Ice as her luck finally ran out.
After the public vote last night landed her in a danceoff with cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, all four judges chose to boot her and professional partner Matt Evers out.
It ended a dismal run on the ITV show.
She has blacked out on the ice, constantly bickered with catty judge Jason Gardiner and consistently finished at the bottom of the leaderboard, only to be saved by her fans. Towie star Gemma, 38, said: “I did say tonight was my night.
“I just came out and had fun. I want to bow out gracefully. It’s time to let them all go on.” Asked by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield if she would carry on skating, she admitted: “Probably not but I have enjoyed my fitness work.”
Before the show, the larger than life character had been one of the favourites to go out early.
In her six weeks, she courted controversy by accusing Jason of “selling stories” about her and fat shaming her.
Arch-enemy Jason said after the dance-off: “It gives me great pleasure to say I’m saving Ryan.”
He told Gemma: “This is a competition and comparatively you’re just not anywhere near the others.”
She scored just 15.5 out of 40 from the four judges.
