Neeson thriller to net £7m
LIAM Neeson’s latest blockbuster could become a £7.7million hit on its opening weekend as a race storm engulfs the actor.
Film fans had called for a boycott of thriller Cold Pursuit after Liam admitted he once roamed the streets for a week looking for a “black b ****** ” to kill after the rape of a pal.
His comments saw the New York red carpet premiere cancelled.
But the film hit number three in the US box office chart, raking in £2.7m on its opening day.
Industry projections showed that figure would hit £7.7m across the weekend.
