12 die in jet crash
A BABY has been pulled alive from a plane which smashed into a building, leaving 12 people dead.
Dozens more are hurt in hospital after the Bek Air jet crashed just after takeoff at 7.22am yesterday.
The aircraft was carrying 93 passengers and five crew from Almaty airport in Kazakhstan to the capital Nur-Sultan.
A spokesman said it hit a concrete fence beyond the end of the runway and collided with the building.
A probe will consider if pilot error or a technical failure caused the crash.
