Vancouver top tip

Decanter - - LETTERS -

nOrmAlly the trAVel items in Decanter are as aspirationally distant to me as the latest tasting of DrC. however, a recent family trip to Canada ended in Vancouver, so Kurtis Kolt’s article ( June 2018) was very timely.

We took up his recommendation of the restaurant Wildebeest, and had the most amazing meal in a place that I don’t think we would have even noticed otherwise. We probably would have queued for a table in some tourist trap establishment. It certainly paid off to have the benefit of local knowledge. there was even a quote from steven spurrier on the wine list. It was a great way to end an amazing family holiday, thanks to Decanter. Steve Connolly, Liverpool
