Bar­gains up for grabs at pre-loved wed­ding mar­ket

BRIDES-TO-BE could grab a wed­ding dress for a bar­gain price at Der­byshire’s first ever Pre-Loved Wed­ding Mar­ket.

Held at Calke Abbey’s Rid­ing School, the mar­ket will show­case gowns and shoes to make your big day even more spe­cial – all at cheaper prices.

The event takes place to­mor­row from 11am un­til 3pm and will be per­fect for those watch­ing the pen­nies ahead of their nup­tials.

The event has been or­gan­ised by award-win­ning Mid­lands-based wed­ding co-or­di­na­tors Hon­ey­suckle & Cas­tle.

Sally Cas­tle, one half of the brains be­hind the busi­ness, said: “Calke Abbey is an ab­so­lutely stun­ning set­ting for a wed­ding and we’re de­lighted to be host­ing the Pre-Loved Wed­ding Mar­ket here.

“It’s the first event like this we’ve held and we’re ex­cited for brides and grooms to come along and grab them­selves a bar­gain.”

Tick­ets for the event cost £2 but or­der­ing on­line grants you en­try to the grounds of Calke Abbey af­ter you’ve vis­ited the mar­ket.

Tick­ets will be avail­able on the door for £2.50, but park en­try fees will be ap­pli­ca­ble at the es­tate gates.
