WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER
Increase your flexibility and artistic diversity on large-scale shoots by collaborating with another photographer
Having a second photographer join you on a wedding shoot is a common way to increase your coverage of larger events. However, the more people you add to your team, the more complex your shoot can become. Clearly discuss what type of images your colleague will be responsible for and at what stages of the day they will capture them. if both photographers are using flash, ensure you are working on different wireless channels to prevent interfering with each other’s work, and construct a schedule to guarantee one photographer is never waiting for another to finish before they can progress with the same subjects.
