Art show finds different home
Dumfries and Galloway Fine Art Society’s Christmas exhibition opens this week – but in a new venue.
For the past 16 years the display has been hosted at Dumfries Infirmary.
However, with the impending move to the new hospital site, this year’s exhibition will be held at the Ottersburn Gallery in Nith Avenue, Dumfries.
The gallery has recently re-opened. It had been closed for 18 months before new owner Sean McKay and wife Kate opened it again in April this year, after transforming the exhibition space.
Around 30 DAGFAS members will be showing their work from tomorrow until December 23 with a range of work for sale.
Opening hours are 10.30am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Booking The Monzani Trio will be at the Queen’s Hotel
