Guilty pleasure: Favourite school lunch: Who inspires you?

My father, who sadly passed away on Boxing Day in 2013, but who’s memory still inspires me daily in terms of how he lived his life and also by his annoying ability to do the Telegraph crossword in the time it took him to eat a bowl of Cornflakes!

Do you like sport?

Cricket is something of an obsession with me. I also love rugby and golf. The former I watch, the latter I play really, really badly

What do you do in the holidays?

We have a holiday apartment on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria which we visit. Once there, it is books, lazy days and good food.
