COUNTRY FAIR IS BACK
Long Melford Country Fair is being relaunched in the stunning grounds of the village’s Melford Hall.
The family fun day has been missing from the local events calander, but friends Edd Keogh, James Janzen and Andy Piper are reviving the event as a celebration of everything countryside and all round family entertainment. The weekend will include showjumping, dog agility and a strongman challenge, lots of local food, real ales, ciders and wines, handmade crafts, shopping, a speakers’ tent, special demonstrations, children’s rides and more. The Country Fair is on August 5 and 6, 11.30am-6pm. Tickets are available in advance online at www.melfordcountryfair.co.uk, or on the gate. Children under five go free.
