DanceEast’s suc­cess­ful Dance for De­men­tia classes have been re­launched for its au­tumn sea­son, as Care to Dance?. The ses­sions are de­signed specif­i­cally for fam­ily car­ers and those they sup­port in the early stages of the ill­ness, help­ing them to share the ex­pe­ri­ence of dance to­gether. They aim to im­prove men­tal and phys­i­cal well­be­ing, cre­ate the op­por­tu­nity to so­cialise and con­nect with oth­ers, but most im­por­tantly, to have fun in a high-qual­ity and stim­u­lat­ing dance en­vi­ron­ment. Ses­sions con­tinue to take place at DanceEast’s home, the Jer­wood DanceHouse, Ip­swich on Thurs­day af­ter­noons from Septem­ber 28-De­cem­ber 7, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, £6 per ses­sion for two peo­ple.
