The Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa is planning a new series of autumn culinary masterclasses during October and November. You can pick up tips, recipes and new culinary skills from AA two rosette head chef Justin Kett.
The popular inspirational events are £39.95 per person, which September 2017 includes a two-course lunch in the hotel’s elegant Gallery Restaurant, with a glass of wine, and coffee or tea. You arrive at 10.15am, chat to Justin over coffee and homemade biscuits, then learn his secrets as you watch the cookery demonstration, which includes tastings. You will also be given all the recipes to take home to try for yourself at your leisure.
On October 26 you can gain an insight into some of Justin’s favourite signature dishes as he shares his personal tips, while on November 30 the Cracking Christmas masterclass will help you prepare for the festive season. Learn how to make Christmas Day lunch look easy and taste good, while you to relax and enjoy the festivities.
After lunch at The Swan you can take a leisurely stroll around the medieval streets of Lavenham, browse the boutiques and galleries, then stay overnight in one of the hotel’s charming bedrooms and make it a culinary retreat at the special masterclass B&B rate.
