The Swan at Laven­ham Ho­tel & Spa is plan­ning a new se­ries of au­tumn culi­nary mas­ter­classes dur­ing Oc­to­ber and Novem­ber. You can pick up tips, recipes and new culi­nary skills from AA two rosette head chef Justin Kett.

The pop­u­lar in­spi­ra­tional events are £39.95 per per­son, which Septem­ber 2017 in­cludes a two-course lunch in the ho­tel’s el­e­gant Gallery Restau­rant, with a glass of wine, and cof­fee or tea. You ar­rive at 10.15am, chat to Justin over cof­fee and home­made bis­cuits, then learn his se­crets as you watch the cook­ery demon­stra­tion, which in­cludes tast­ings. You will also be given all the recipes to take home to try for your­self at your leisure.

On Oc­to­ber 26 you can gain an in­sight into some of Justin’s favourite sig­na­ture dishes as he shares his per­sonal tips, while on Novem­ber 30 the Crack­ing Christ­mas masterclass will help you pre­pare for the fes­tive sea­son. Learn how to make Christ­mas Day lunch look easy and taste good, while you to re­lax and en­joy the fes­tiv­i­ties.

Af­ter lunch at The Swan you can take a leisurely stroll around the me­dieval streets of Laven­ham, browse the bou­tiques and gal­leries, then stay overnight in one of the ho­tel’s charm­ing bed­rooms and make it a culi­nary re­treat at the spe­cial masterclass B&B rate.
