You clean curtains, blinds, cushions, throws and bedding, so why wouldn’t you do the same for your carpets? Surprisingly, the vast majority of people think there’s no need. Even well vacuumed carpets can host bacteria such as E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus and campylobacter, particularly if outdoor shoes are worn inside. At least once a year, give your carpets a thorough professional clean to tackle bugs deep down in the pile.
