WITH the spring/summer season almost over, Luke Hayes, homewares manager at Glasswells, comments on what’s in store for the new season. He says: “Customers can expect to still see grey as a base colour but it’ll be accented by rich, inky blues. Navy has been on-trend for a while this year, but autumn/winter is where it will really come into focus.

“One of the quirkier trends this year will be inspired by world travel and vintage prints, which one of our suppliers - Voyage taps into with its eccentric natural history fabric range,” he adds.

“We will also see a lot of check patterns and tartan this autumn/winter. Gallery has a fabulous range of check throws and cushions that come in a variety of tones - from the warmer, earthier tones more associated with autumn to much brighter, punchier shades.

“If you want to tap into the understated eccentricity of the folk trend this year, then Sanderson’s range of nature-inspired fabrics and prints will give you plenty of inspiration.”

A taste of what’s to come at Glasswells.
