Adventures on an Orange Bike

EADT Suffolk - - Miss Scarlett -

There is a chill in the air. Autumn is definitely here. Leaves, puddles, mud, potholes and gravel are the cyclist’s challenges from now until next spring, possibly snow and ice later on. I could be talking about the railways, couldn’t I?. The Suffolk countryside looks as beautiful under dark grey skies as it does in sunshine. For me, the best thing about cycling in autumn and winter is finding convivial places to stop and re-fuel. What better than a cosy, busy café for mid-morning coffee or hot chocolate, or one of our many lovely Suffolk pubs, with a roaring fire, for a hearty lunch. It sounds so good I’ve talked myself into jumping on my bike right now. Charge!
