Building homes, supporting communities
The eye-catching style of Hopkins Homes and Hopkins & Moore is well recognised throughout Suffolk. Now the award-winning homebuilder has announced a £0.5million charitable fund for causes across East Anglia
AT the heart of Hopkins Homes’ ethos is a commitment to the creation of homes which meet a need within the community, and complement and enhance the local architectural style and landscape. The result is homes and developments which reflect and become a part of the heritage of the area. The £500,000 Hopkins Charitable Fund extends this commitment to the creation of strong, cohesive communities, and comes as the company marks the sale of its 5,000th home.
James Hopkins, executive chairman of Hopkins Homes said: “The expansion of the Hopkins Charitable Fund is an extension of this desire to contribute to the local community, not just through the quality of what we build but by supporting charities and good causes to help vulnerable members of our society. Many of the causes and charities are familiar to me on a personal level and I am delighted that through this fund we will be able to support them even more.” The fund will support charities and community groups across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk and will be administered by Community Foundations.
