Varley, a three-year-old black Labrador, owned by Daniel Jillings, of Lowestoft, has received the Young Hearing Dogs Partnership of the Year Award from Hearing Dogs For Deaf People.
CAKES AT SCHOOL
Cakes made and donated by pupils and parents for a coffee morning at Bawdsey Primary School, near Woodbridge raised £280 for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer.
WALK FOR HOPE
The University of Suffolk hosted its own HOPEWalk in Ipswich aunched by young suicide prevention charity Papyrus. Participants were encouraged to wear purple and donate £5.
The family of James Dwerryhouse, who died last year aged seven, have donated more than £8,500 to The Treehouse hospice in Ipswich saying they are “forever grateful” for their support.
