TOP DOG

Var­ley, a three-year-old black Labrador, owned by Daniel Jillings, of Low­est­oft, has re­ceived the Young Hear­ing Dogs Part­ner­ship of the Year Award from Hear­ing Dogs For Deaf Peo­ple.

CAKES AT SCHOOL

Cakes made and donated by pupils and par­ents for a cof­fee morn­ing at Bawd­sey Pri­mary School, near Wood­bridge raised £280 for the World’s Big­gest Cof­fee Morn­ing in aid of Macmil­lan Cancer.

WALK FOR HOPE

The Univer­sity of Suf­folk hosted its own HOPEWalk in Ip­swich aunched by young sui­cide pre­ven­tion char­ity Pa­pyrus. Par­tic­i­pants were en­cour­aged to wear pur­ple and do­nate £5.

TREE­HOUSE FUNDS

The fam­ily of James Dw­er­ry­house, who died last year aged seven, have donated more than £8,500 to The Tree­house hos­pice in Ip­swich say­ing they are “for­ever grate­ful” for their sup­port.
