EADT Suffolk - - Ready Or Not . . . -

How better to start the festive season than by getting ahead with all of your festive prep? Cards, presents, stockings, food and drink – there’s so much to think about! So why not get going early with some cracking Christmas shopping?

Along the main high street, you’ll find a few big name department stores including Debenhams and Marks & Spencer, as well as more specialist stores perfect for gift shopping such as Pandora, HMV and The Body Shop.

A walk along the streets of the Saints will introduce some fabulous independent boutiques. Explore these stand-out shops for everything from clothes, fabric and yarn, to antiques, beauty products and sports and leisure equipment.

Each year, the shops in Ipswich town centre also open their doors for late night shopping, providing residents and visitors with longer opening hours to get their all important Christmas gift shopping done. Many shops open on Thursday evenings until around 10pm. This year, late night shopping will begin on Thursday, November 16 and will be kicked off in style with the town centre’s Christmas lights switch on.
