Ran­some fans may also be in­ter­ested in The Mak­ing of Swal­lows and Ama­zons, by So­phie Neville, pub­lished this year by the Lut­ter­worth Press. Peter Willis’ Good Lit­tle Ship, Arthur Ran­some, Nancy Black­ett and the Goblin, com­bines anal­y­sis of We Didn’t Mean to go to Sea with the story of the Nancy Black­ett, and is pub­lished by Lodestar Books.
