Adventures on an Orange Bike

EADT Suffolk - - Drink -

One of the great things about being on my bike is that I am rolling along slowly enough to have a good peek into people’s gardens, many of which hold hidden surprises, and sometimes a shock or two, rottweilers lying in wait being a regular on one of my routes. And in the winter with the trees devoid of their leaves, you might also get a passing sneaky look through windows and see the amazing array of decorations on display, some of them giving me ideas for my own.

I love it when folk put big Christmas trees in their windows for all to admire, and there are some real beauties, so tastefully decorated you just know there must be some special packages underneath them. Cycling through Brandeston is a real treat as the houses have beautiful gold fairy lights on the outsides and in their gardens and trees. The whole effect is truly magical, and well worth a visit, followed by an Aspall’s mulled cider in the Brandeston Queen.
